Natalie's Review

Marcarini La Serra Barolo Barolo 2008, D.O.C.G., Piedmont, Italy: A beautiful expression of northern Italian terroir. Opens with alluring aromas of violets, black plums, dark spices, and black cherry. Firm structure, terrific balance and a long tar-noted finish. Full-bodied with robust tannins so be sure to decant for 1-2 hours. This will do very well in the cellar. What a treasure! Drink: 2012-2020. 7807 14% XD 750 mL  $64.95 Score: 93/100.
