Cursor S.A. Familia Mayol Cuatro Primos Named Varietal Blends-Red 2008, Mendoza, Argentina: Full-bodied with layers of black fruit and mocha aromas. This wine is a blend of four red grapes: malbec, syrah, cabernet sauvignon and bonarda from four vineyards in honour of winery owner Pedro Mayol’s four grandchildren. Cuatro Primos translates to "four cousins." This robust, complex wine offers great satisfaction on the palate that persists right through a long finish. There's just enough toasty oak from about a year of aging in barrel to wrap itself around fleshy black plums and blackberries. Top me up!
