Natalie's Review

Matua Valley Estate Series Paretai Sauvignon Blanc 2012, Marlborough, New Zealand: Powerful and mouth-watering in the absolutely best tradition of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Grassy, lime-zest refreshment with layers of complexity and satisfaction. Terrific! This is the winery's flagship label and the grapes are grown in the Northbank Vineyard on the bank of Wairau River. The wine is not oak-aged to maintain pure fruit refreshment and liveliness. There's a lovely lime lift and gooseberry zest on the finish. Pair with vegetarian dishes and seafood.
