with the following review:
Deep golden colour for this 'noble rot' produced nectar. Strong aromas of honey, orange blossom, and just a bit of carasene (in a pleasant way). Mouth filling texture and immensely sweet. Added flavours include pear and melon.
All in all a lovely offering for the desert wine inclined!
Chateau De Fargues Lur Saluces Sauternes 2003, Bordeaux, France: Gorgeously seductive aromas and flavour of honey, pear preserves, quince jelly and apricot blossom. Luscious, rich and round with a mouth-filling texture and a hedonistic length that keeps on giving. Beautiful cinnamon sprinkled apple pie cooling on a country cottage window on the finish. Drink: 2013-2020. 98376 13% S 375 mL $88.00 Score: 95/100. April 27, 2013 Top Rated Dessert Wine. Divine Dessert Wine Full Review
