Jon Steeves rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A wonderful full-bodied Greek red. Complex aromatics with rich stewed red fruit, aged leather. Fruit from 690 meters ASL. Medium minus acidity and tannins. Integrating well. Boasting with fruit and ready to enjoy. Easily drinkable without food or with spicy Belizian tacos. Tasted May 2017. 90 points
Monique Sosa reviewed this wine as follows:

A rustic aromatic beauty. Alluring aromas include stewed plum, leather, tobacco and smoky minerality. A lovely medium-bodied mouthwatering Greek red wine that pairs well with carne asada steak. Tasted May 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca

Alpha Estate Hedgehog Vineyard Xinomavro 2008, A.O.S.Q., Amyndeon, Greece: Juicy, full-bodied and smooth with a very different and exciting taste profile. Lovely dark cherry, smoke and some tanned leather. Extremely mouth-watering which makes this a great dance partner with many dishes. Intriguing, try it! Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
