Andrew Bernardo Wine Journal
rated this wine as 88/100
with the following review:
In warm vintages, this wine is all about unctuous tropical fruit, and has a massive potassium/banana note. 2011 is different. A wet and cold July was followed by a warmer fall, but allowed for more hang-time for the fruit. The result? The classic tropical fruit is there, ripe stone fruit, dark agave, but with a more lively acidity than the 2009 and the 2010. This is a classic for scallops with rich sauces. I'm 88+ on this wine.
