I love this wine, and it's one of my favorite go-to wines. I even have one of my colleagues at work hooked on this wine. It's great value for the money, and I love an old vine Zinfandel. It's bursting with fresh fruit flavour, but it's the peppery oak that I love the most. A hint of spice and a hint of vanilla makes for one sweet wine.

It is a good wine - not a great wine - too much vanilla for a Zin.
I think they were trying to make a 2003 Yellow Tail Shiraz and came out with the most popular thing they could from a Zin grape. Lots of vanilla, slightly sweet. I gave it an 81 because I'm not pouring it down the drain - rather a little too easy to drink (but some nights that's okay)
