From the epicenter of the Rhone valley comes a big bold Chateauneuf-du-Pape consisting of mostly Grenache (70%) with some Syrah, Mourvedre and Counoise. A full bodied blend with aromas of ripe dark fruit and a long lasting cherry finish with some noticeable tannins. It pairs well with beef stew or grilled pepper steak
Perrin & Fils Les Sinards 2010, Châteauneuf-Du-Pape, A.O.C., France: Gorgeous liquid velvet with many layers of complexity and pleasure. Full-bodied and balanced with lots of dark fruit, smoke, violets and mystery. Decant 2 hours and impress your guests. Drink: 2013-2016. 926626 13.50% XD 750 mL $34.95 Score: 92/100.
