Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is a nicely balanced wine with with lots of earthiness, smoke, and and black cherry aromas. The taste continues with black and tart cherries and there's a long silky finish with some very soft tannins. Very nice for an herbed port roast.

Chapoutier Regional Blended Red 2010, Rasteau, Rhone Valley, France: Full-bodied with big black fruit, smoke and tar on the nose and palate. Lots of layers and superb balance. Dry and satisfying. Terrific dinner party wine with hearty meat dishes. Drink: 2013-2016. 321539 14.50% XD 750 mL  $18.95 Score: 90/100. March 7, 2013 Best Beef Wine  Full Review
