A lovely Ontario offering from the escarpment! In the range of sweetness levels that Riesling so versatilely exhibits, this falls in the off-dry category (roughly a 2 out of 5 for sweetness).
Lots happening on the nose, with pear, citrus, minerality (think light rain on hot pavement), apple, and some spices as well. Nicely rounded out on the palate and a refreshing amount of acidity that nicely balances out the residual sugar.
The only shortcoming here is lightly noticeable bitterness on the palate, but a lovely wine and a great value!
