Drink Wine and Giggle Gals
rated this wine as 89/100
with the following review:
In 1395 the Duke of Burgundy referred to gamay noir as a wine of "very great and horrible harshness". Evidently the good Duke had not experienced Tawse Gamay Noir, a light and lovely red that the Drink Wine and Giggle Gals like to pair with frisbees, cheese and charcuterie at our annual girlfriend picnic by the lake.
Tawse Gamay Noir 2011, V.Q.A., Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, Canada: Peppery back cherry on the nose with great vibrancy and juiciness on the palate. Medium-bodied and lively. Drink with grilled chicken. Drink: 2013-2015. 322545 12% D 750 mL $18.95 Score: 88/100. March 2, 2013 Luscious Lamb Wine Full Review
