Natalie's Review

Castello Di Ama Riserva Chianti Classico 2008, D.O.C.G., Tuscany, Italy: Lovely, fresh and full-bodied. Great vibrancy of fresh cherry fruit, fresh-turned earth, rose petal and violet. Supple and smooth. This would be divine with light pasta dishes. This wine is a blend mostly of sangiovese, but also has cabernet franc, merlot and malvasia. A nice long finish with touches of anise and smoke. Winemakers are Lorenza Sebaste and Marco Pallanti. Drink: 2013-2017. 39768 14% XD 750 mL  $34.95 Score: 92/100.
