Andrew Bernardo Wine Journal
rated this wine as 93/100
with the following review:
Classic Coonawarra Cabernet, with blackberry, black cherry, spice, hung meat, and cassis supported by the strong mint note we've come to know and love from this region. Solid structure, beautiful, well-balanced acidity. Bordeaux's naughty step-sister. 93 Points. (ottawawinejournal.com)
Majella Cabernet Sauvignon 2009, Coonawara, South Australia, Australia: Black plums and cassis on the nose with violets and spice on the palate along with a mouth-filling richness. Full-bodied and intense with a mouth-watering juiciness for meat dishes. Drink: 2013-2016. 301531 14% D 750 mL $36.95 Score: 92/100. February 16, 2013 Plush Pork Wine Full Review
