Beautiful high tones of strawberry, and bright cherry are followed by crushed anise seed, white pepper, and a spice note on the finish. This wine stays in the treble clef, showing great purity. 91 Points. (ottawawinejournal.com)
Palacios Remondo La Montesa Tempranillo 2009, D.O.C.A., Rioja, Spain: A blend of 65% Garnacha, 30% Tempranillo and 5% Mazuelo grapes. Full-bodied, chalky and smooth. Aromas of dark fruit and smoke.
