rated this wine as 86/100
with the following review:
Peach, pineapple, cantaloupe, orange blossom, and substantial herbal (mint, sage) character on the nose. Repeats but with lemony, nutty, and salty character adding some interest to the medium-light palate. The lemon, nutty, and mineral notes linger on the finish. Tasted Jan., 2016. Its probably past its prime drinking window, as the aromatics lacked liveliness.
Villa Tonino Inzolia 2011, I.G.P., Sicily, Italy: Lime and orange blossom on this mouth-watering, dry white. If you like Torrontes from Argentina, try this. Less floral but just as pretty. Medium-bodied and ultra food-friendly for seafood and chicken. Drink: 2012-2015. 100552 12.50% D 750 mL $14.95 Score: 88/100. February 2, 2013 Best Value White Wine.
