Burrowing Owl Estate Winery Merlot 2008, Okanagan Valley, BC, VQA, Canada: Generous black plum and toasty oak aromas in this superb Merlot. Supple, smooth and full-bodied with cassis and dark berries on a long finish. This wine was aged in a combination of French, American and Hungarian oak for 16 months.
