Glenda rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Named for the cheese producing goats at Fairview, Paarl, together with a tongue-in-cheek reference to more serious Rhone wines, this range offers value for money and great drinking. The Goatfather is a blend of shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, barbera, zinfandel which is big quite delicious and Old World in style.
