Jennifer Hart rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Sagey-wild-herb on the nose with red plums and a smoked meat, smokiness. The palate is dry, black-cherry- raspberry and a slight savouriness. Velvety and full in the mouth with well-integrated acid and tannins

Montirius Garrigues Saurel Et Seignour Grenache Syrah 2009, A.C., Vacqueyras, Rhône, France: Pleasant bitter herbs and tobacco leaves. Full-bodied and smooth, not fruity. Earthy and smoky.
