Tommasi Classico Superiore, Unfiltered Valpolicella Ripasso 2008, D.O.C., Veneto, Italy: Vintages Wine Panel: Tommasi is unique in Ripasso and Valpolicella production. They make contemporary wines for modern palates without betraying traditions or classic approaches. This version is rich with raspberry, plum and vanilla aromas and flavors while still exhibiting the vibrant rustic tones that make it so identifiably Italian. This half-bottle size of our popular Vintages Essential is perfect for intimate dinners. My note: A savory and delicious selection among half bottles.
