Natalie's Review

Quinta Do Cerrado 2007, D.O.C., Dao, Portugal: Vintages Wine Panel: Dão is one of Portugal’s most important wine-producing areas. The ageable Quinto do Cerrado is a deep youthful ruby in the glass, with appetite-whetting aromas of raspberry, sandalwood, milk chocolate and dark fruit. The palate is dry, medium bodied and simply bursting with flavours of spice, dark fruit, raspberry, and chocolate. The oak is very nicely integrated, and the tannins are firm but not overwhelming. The medium-long, velvety, and very satisfying finish will leave you hankering for more. My note: Simple and tasty with a supple, medium-bodied weight. Ripe dark plums and field berries. Great party wine! 194720 12.60% XD 750 mL  $14.95 Score: 87/100. December 11, 2010  Full Review
