Domenico Filippino Nebbiolo 2007, D.O.C., Langhe, Piedmont, Italy: Vintages Wine Panel: This fantastic Nebbiolo is deliciously true to form. Great fruit and herb notes on the nose, leading to balanced and well-integrated tannins on the dry, fruity palate. All the elements here work together beautifully, right through to the end of the lovely, medium-long, complex finish. My note: A savoury, dark, mouth-watering red with a pleasantly bitter/sour finish. Full-bodied and straight-forward. 184952 13.50% D 750 mL $15.95 Score: 87/100. December 11, 2010 Full Review
