Borthwick Vineyard Paper Road Pinot Noir 2008, Wairarapa, New Zealand: Vintages Wine Panel: The Paper Road Vineyard is built on the site of a road proposed and surveyed in the 1890s. The road was never developed and as a result exists only on local maps. The winery’s Pinot Noir offers abundant raspberry and cherry on the nose, and a delightfully balanced palate displaying great harmony between the fruit, tannins and the acidity. My note: Bright and tart with dancing cherries and mouth-watering acidity. Medium-bodied and supple. 179770 13.90% XD 750 mL $24.95 Score: 90/100. November 27, 2010 Full Review
