This is a Bordeaux blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Verdot from the Haut Medoc. Plenty of fruit; plum and black cherry on the nose and palate as well as some smoke and cocoa. Lush with smooth tannins and balanced acidity. Medium finish. Tasted January 15, 2017.
Château De Gironville J. Bueno, Prop. Meritage 2009, A.C., Haut-Médoc, Bordeaux, France: This full-bodied, tasty red is a blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot grapes. It offers rich aromas and flavours of black and purple plums, great depth and length. There's some dried herbs and smoke on the finish. Smooth, balanced and delicious. Great price. Drink: 2012-2015. 193086 13% XD 750 mL $23.85 Score: 90/100. January 19, 2013 Best Beef Wine Full Review
