Quintessential California. Rich ruby, medium+ aromas. Dark cherry, raspberry, strawberry, cedar, forest floor, vanilla, pepper. Velvet tannins. Aromas are duplicated on the palate with the addition of smoke and warm spices. Finish is long and spicy warm. Medium alcohol.
This is a beautiful wine. Drinking nicely now with ageing potential.
Food friendly. Turkey with cranberry, planked salmon, or pleasant on it's own.

Acacia Pinot Noir 2011, Carneros, California, United States: Attractive dark cherry and dark spice notes on the nose. The palate is liquid satin with a medium-bodied weight. A long, dry finish brings you back to your glass for more. Pair with roast chicken or turkey as well as with grilled tuna and salmon. Drink: 2012-2016. 235960 14.40% XD 750 mL $24.95 Score: 92/100.
