Bought two, 1 markedly different from the other after aging an additional year. This wine has lots of cherry and tobacco notes. This is old-style Rioja for me, and very much welcomed. I'm 90 on this. (ottawawinejournal.com)

91-92 On the nose red and black cherries. hints if oak. on the palate sweet cherries, dried black figs. well integrated oak and balanced acidity. The finish is long and sweet.
Cn be rewarded with a few more years in the cellar. Decant for 1-1.5 hours. Tasted Jan2013
