Château Peymelon Famille Michel Chapard 2005, A.C., Premières Côtes De Blaye, Bordeaux, France: This is a value-priced wine from the remarkable 2005 vintage for Bordeaux. It's rustic and robust with aromas of wild tiny cherries and raspberries. There's some attractive smoke and dried herbs on the finish. I find this wine is more full-bodied than medium, but it's not heavy. Great for hearty meat dishes. Drink: 2012-2015. 307314 13% XD 750 mL $17.95 Score: 89/100. January 5, 2013 Full Review
