Andrew Bernardo Wine Journal rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A real crowd-pleaser, this wine has gorgeous notes of black cherry, baking spice, and a light citrus note. The high-toned Grenache really brings out the plushness in this wine. Bright acidity livens this wine up, making it an ideal combination for red meat, as well as cheese and even chocolate. 90 points. (ottawawinejournal.com)

Yalumba The Strapper Grenache Shiraz Mataro 2010, Barossa Valley, Australia: This is an incredible wine for the price! Full-bodied, lusciously rich and deep with a terrific long finish. Aromas of fleshy dark fruit, a hint of pepper and savoury goodness. Mouth-watering and delicious. terrific with grilled pork chops, beef or lamb with rosemary.
