I think Canada will become known for it's Pinot Noir, because the grape loves our cool climates. This Inniskillin Pinot Noir stands out as one of my favorites. So much so I featured it in one of my weekly wine blogs. Fresh and fruity, with a hint of spice - this wine will go with a lot of different foods, I also enjoy it with barbecued chicken.
Inniskillin Niagara Estate Select Vineyards Pinot Noir 2010, VQA, Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario, Canada: A silky, medium-bodied red with aromas of tart cherries and field raspberries. Mouth-watering and very versatile with food, from planked salmon to roast chicken. A satisfying long finish. Drink: 2012-2016. 981332 13.60% D 750 mL $22.95 Score: 90/100. January 19, 2013 Full Review
