Sogrape Callabriga Aragónez Alfrocheiro Alicante Bouschet 2007, D.O.C., Alentejo, Portugal: Vintages Wine Panel: Sogrape’s Callabriga is produced from mostly Aragónez (Tempranillo) with the rest comprised of Alfrocheiro and Alicante Bouschet. The wine is designed to demonstrate a modern Winemaking style using the grapes and vineyards that reflect the best of Portugal. Look for Aromas of blackberry, cherry and plum, plus hints of spice and nicely integrated oak tones. This Dry, medium-full-bodied wine is enjoyable now with flavourful meat. My note: Juicy, mouth-watering and savoury. Very tasty! Aromas of Dark and purple plums and berries. Lovely supple texture and a full-bodied texture. Drink: 2010-2014. 167643 14.50% D 750 mL $16.95 Score: 88/100. September 18, 2010 Full Review
