Domaine Nicolas Maillet Le Chemin Blanc Chardonnay 2008, A.C., Mâcon-Verzé, Burgundy, France: Vintages Wine Panel: Mâcon-Verzé is an intriguing region and village in southern Burgundy whose wines are still little known in our market. This version – featuring fine aromas of lemon, lime, green apple and even hints of fresh ginger – shows the region’s Chardonnay in a very good light. This expressive and tangy wine is a lovely aperitif. My note: Mildly flavoured but I like it! White peach and melon with some green apple notes. Refreshing, clean and crisp. Drink: 2010-2013. 702605 13% XD 750 mL $19.95 Score: 88/100. September 4, 2010 Full Review
