Flat Rock Cellars Riesling 2009, V.Q.A., Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, Canada: Vintages Wine Panel: Here’s further proof, if any were needed, that the 2009 vintage was a stellar one for white varieties, especially Riesling. It’s aromatically charged with pear, lime, grapefruit, and impressive minerality. Off-dry with racy acids bringing a touch of refreshment. The aromas replay beautifully on the palate. This is a medium-bodied, long-finishing, fruity/crisp wine. My note: Ultra-tasty and mouth-watering with peach and petrol minerality. Adore it! Needs food, don’t leave this wine alone! 43281 11% MD 750 mL $16.95 Score: 89/100. September 4, 2010 Full Review
