Malivoire Guilty Men Sauvignon Blanc 2009, V.Q.A., Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, Canada: Vintages Wine Panel: Martin Malivoire may once have worked alongside Hollywood’s elite as an SFX engineer, but there are no smoke and mirrors here – this Sauvignon Blanc is for real. Pale yellow with a green tint in the glass, it opens to an almost sinfully rich nose of grass, orchard blossoms and ripe tropical-fruit notes. This tremendously aromatic, medium-bodied Sauvignon Blanc, with its zesty, bright acidity, is a delicious example of the quality we expect from Ontario’s ’09 vintage.
