Cormòns Pinot Grigio 2008, D.O.C., Isonzo Del Friuli, Italy: Vintages Wine Panel: The Cormòns Wine Producers’ Co-operative is the largest winemaking company in the Friulian province of Gorizia. The membership includes more than 200 small, owner-operated vineyards with a total of 339 ha under vine. This Pinot Grigio is bright gold in colour, with vivid aromas of lemon and acacia blossom. A wonderful palate-refresher that’s the perfect segue-in-a-glass for all those upcoming backyard get-togethers. My note: White peach and grapefruit with no heavy oak or alcohol. Good aperitif. 734038 13% D 750 mL $14.95 Score: 85/100. July 24, 2010 Full Review
