Jean Geiler Lieu-Dit Sonnenburg Riesling 2008, A.C., Alsace, France: Vintages Wine Panel: Fine single-vineyard Alsace Riesling (lieu-dit means single vineyard, or a specific portion of it). Features aromas of apricot, grapefruit and lime, plus a hint of orange pekoe and baking spices. The aromas repeat on the palate and culminate in a pleasing, off-dry/crisp finish. Racy with good balance and length. Try it this evening. My note: Exquisite balance and distinction with aromas of white peach, flint, stonefruit and Asian pear. Love it! 178368 13% MD 750 mL $14.95 Score: 89/100. July 24, 2010 Best Value White Wine. Full Review
