Delheim Pinotage Rosé 2009, W.O., Stellenbosch, South Africa: Vintages Wine Panel: Almost neon pink in colour, this fresh and lively rosé is the perfect wine to help prolong the waning days of summer. The nose displays exuberant aromas of strawberries, maraschino cherries and rosewater. Dry and medium bodied, it features strawberry and redcurrant flavours as well as candied notes reminiscent of jujubes, all balanced by zippy acidity and leading to a tangy finish. It makes a lovely patio sipper. My note: Vibrant, big acidic attack with ultra-refreshing notes of cranberries and tart cherries. 721670 12.50% D 750 mL $14.95 Score: 87/100.
