Andrew Bernardo Wine Journal rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Has evolved after a couple years, with more density, more black cherry and raspberry notes, great acidity not normally found in pure Oz Grenache. A nice drink. Game meat is the ultimate pairing. I'm 90 on this. (ottawawinejournal.com)

d'Arenberg The Custodian Grenache 2007, Mclaren Vale, South Australia, Australia: You want a big palate-wacker, well step right up my dear. This delivers a solid punch of fruit, alcohol and smoky oak. Loads of black cherry and blackberry. Ba-Boom! 713040 14.50% D 750 mL  $19.95 Score: 88/100. May 29, 2010  Full Review
