Château Val Joanis Tradition Syrah Rosé 2009, A.C., Luberon, Rhône, France: Vintages Wine Panel: Berry nose following through on the palate with some citrus-infused flavours. It’s medium bodied, smoothly textured, and quite refreshingly dry on its lengthy finish. A terrific back-patio sipper. My note: Light and lovely with eternity in mind. Ethereal notes of strawberry and rose petal; it floats along outside of consciousness, especially if you drink enough of it. 707281 13.50% D 750 mL $14.95 Score: 88/100. May 29, 2010 Best Value Rosé.
