Andrew Bernardo Wine Journal rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Skip this wine if you are looking for any vestige of new world therein. This wine displays classic tar-edged black fruits, black olive, hung meat, double salt licorice, and grilled thyme. Incredible grip and balance. Locks you in, and doesn't let go. Outstanding Crozes. 93 Points. (ottawawinejournal.com)
Gabriel Israel rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A wonderful Crozes-Hermitage as expected from E. Guigal. The first thing that comes to mind describing this wine is "clean and precise'. Medium-full body. Red cherries with prunes. Balanced acidity. Dry long sweet finish. Needs time 2-3 years, but can probably be cellared for 5-8 years more.
