Great value wine. Clos la Coutale is from the Cahors region of Southwest France. France, being a country that labels its wine from Regions, and you have to know which grape comes from which region. This wine is a Malbec - a big juicy tasty Malbec. It has lots of flavours of spices and oak, but it's not over-powering the wine or cloying. This is a great wine at a great price.
