I used to think Zinfandel wines were wimpy. The Charles Atlas of wines, if you will. (I know, I'm aging myself). But the Caymus Vineyard Zinfandel made a believer out of me. At $48 a bottle, (where I live) it's a treat wine. But take my word, it is heaven in a glass. This family has been making wine since 1972 and they know what they are doing. Lots of fruit flavour in this full bodied wine and a long lasting finish that you can't help but appreciate.
