Very Good wine with medium plus fruit intensity and concentration. The mix of dark berries and plums sits over a touch of baking spice and a tobacco note. The wine has very good complexity and will improve for a year or two. The tannins are medium plus and the acidity is medium making for a structured wine. Drink now and for the next 8-10 years.
Cono Sur 20 Barrels Cabernet Sauvignon 2008, Maipo Valley, Limited Edition, Chile: Love this! Big on flavour but not over the top or heavy. Fleshy crushed black plums that spread their juices over your palate as you swirl the wine back and forth in your mouth. Great structure and balance. A long, smoky finish. Drink: 2012-2015. 94128 14% XD 750 mL $26.95 Score: 90/100. September 15, 2012 Full Review
