Mark Cochrane Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A dark ruby red blend of Grenache and Syrah from the southern Rhone valley with distinctive aromas of spice, blackberry, menthol and cured meat. Flavours like cherry and plum dominate with a mild tannic structure and medium finish of cherry.
Jason Solanki rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Plum and cherry wood aromas from cork. Very nice lavender, violet and toasty wood and licorice aromas. Medium-bodied with nicely integrated tannins. Sweet dark fruit flavours on the palate with some spice kicking in midway, leading to a smooth, herbal-note, medium-length finish. Very good acidity. An easy drinking red with some substance. Tasted Oct 27, 2012.
