Lesley Quinn Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This wine starts out with great lemon and melon notes but finishes with a tasty little butterscotch snap. It does a great job of balancing the fruit with the oak, and is delicious with coconut shrimp.
Jason Solanki rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Toasty oak with lots apple and butter aromas with replays on palate. Some melon flavours also shine through the vanilla on the long finish. Very new world style of Chardonnay. Could be aged at least another 3 years. Tasted Sept/2012.

Chateau St Jean Chardonnay 2010, California, Sonoma County, United States: Gorgeously rich and full-bodied with layers of butterscotch and toffee. Ripe peach and pear notes on the mid-palate with a long, satisfying buttery smoke finish. Drink: 2012-2015. 269738 13.40%  750 mL  $18.95 Score: 90/100.
