Casa Lapostolle Cabernet Sauvignon 2008, Rapel Valley, Chile: Vintages Wine Panel: Good-value Cabernet Sauvignon with aromas of plum, lilac, graphite and cassis. Dry and quite lively on the palate with crisp acidity supporting the fruit. There are also developing tannins here, suggesting 1-3 years of cellar capability. Medium bodied with a fairly lengthy and evolving finish. It may also be enjoyed tonight, decanted. My note: Black as a starless night and just as brooding. Dark berries and plums with smoke weaving through them. 398800 14.50% D 750 mL $16.95 Score: 88/100. March 6, 2010 Full Review
