I have had a lot of Malbec's from Argentina and you can't go wrong with this one. Big juicy fruits, a beautiful rich purple color in the glass and aromas of violets and vanilla. A hint of spice from the oak ageing and you have yourself a great value wine for under $15.
Alamos Malbec 2011, Mendoza, Argentina: Big, black and delicious! Full-bodied with lots of dark fruit and toasty oak. Superb quality for the price. Serve it at BBQs and movie night. Drink: 2012-2015. 295105 13.50% 750 mL $13.95 Score: 89/100. July 7, 2012 Best Beef Wine Full Review
