Allie Hughes rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The JT Silver Series Chardonnay sang sweet melodies of Niagara peach, bright green apple and baking spice aplenty... the warm vanilla is like a giant hug of delicious! The length on this wine is exceptional, it is very well balanced and the mouthfeel is the definition of full and creamy. Yum!
Jason Solanki rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Screw cap. Delicious peach, apple and vanilla aromas lead to more of the same on the palate, joined by hints of butter and honey notes. Full-bodied for a white with very creamy mouthfeel. Finishes a bit spicy with herbal characters. Quite delicious! Tasted July 2012.
Holly Bruns rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Ripe and full with lots of sweet butterscotch on the nose. Some fruitiness too: coconut, banana, apple. Nutmeg adds a little interest. This oaked Chardonnay is supple on the palate with that defined butterscotch on the finish. Balanced for a full version of the grape.
Corinna Horton rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

For years I was an ABC(Anything But Chardonnay)drinker. Only recently have I given this this buttery big grape a second change after being over-oaked so many times. I sat for 15 minutes just inhaling the Silver Series' scent: pear and plum, with a hint of coriander & saffron spice. The warmer it became the more fragrance it released, in fact I believe it was best cool and not cold and certainly benefited from 30 minutes of breathing. Surprisingly leggy for a chardonnay with a healthy bite (13.5%) and pale golden colour. Hints of dried fruit and bread replaced it's oaked opening refrain, with a lingering nutty finish.
Nina rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Bright, clear, golden core with watery rim.
On the nose oak, nutty, smoky.
On the palate butter, soft acidity, pine nuts, macadamia nuts, tropical fruit. Medium to full body, white cherries. Nice, long finish with mango in the end.
Dan Trcka rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The 2010 Jackson-Triggs Silver Series Chardonnay, aged in French and American oak for 6 months giving it an attractive hay/golden colour. It is medium bodied, has woody aromas, together with apple/pear, boxwood and faint vanilla. It is not too acidic, has, soft to refined tannins (decant for 30 min to allow the overwhelming woody notes to faint away and for the fruit to come forth) and a long finish. The actual LCBO# is 252072. This wine should be tasted with strong cheeses. Rated 89 pts. Tasted July/12.
Susan Desjardins reviewed this wine as follows:

Pure gold in the glass, buttery nutty notes mingle with aromas of ripe orchard fruit, vanilla and toasted oats. Dry, medium-full bodied, showcasing a fine creamy texture, spicy peppery warmth and flavours of luscious ripe pear, tasty lemon curd and juicy yellow plum, this is a substantial wine. Fresh acidity provides a subtle frame while the nuttiness lingers on the finish. Try this with a semi-soft cheese.
