Sean O'Regan Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

March 28, 2014: Deep ruby, savoury nose with dried red/black fruit, eath, pepper, sagebush, tobacco/leather, spice, chocolate with a mineral undertone. Ripe fruit, tobacco, very dry and savoury, plenty of fine drying tannins, with balancing acidity and good depth and layers of dried cherry, currant, dried green her and wood spice. Medium full bodied, this has a long savoury and very drying finish. This benefits from several hours in a decanter and demands a fatty protein like an herb crusted rib roast or rib eye steak. 91+
Gabriel Israel rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

88-90 ; this wine is WAY overpriced - it should have been priced around the $25 range wines, not $48. The wine is a good Cabernet blend (with Merlot and Petite Verdot). Full body, concentrated with dark cherries and plums flavors. Decant for 1-1.5 hours.

Clos de Gat Ayalon Valley Unfined & Unfiltered 2007, Judean Hills, Israel: Needs cellar time and is over-priced by $20 but it's a good wine. Full-bodied with dark fruit, the right amount of oak and a good finish. Drink: 2014-2018. 280339 14% D 750 mL  $47.95 Score: 90/100. May 12, 2012  Full Review
