This Pinot Noir was delicious! It proved to me why people refer to Oregon as being as good as Burgundy. Ripe cherries,and a hint of earth, with a finish so well balanced it kept you coming back for more and more. It paired with all our main courses beautifully (duck breast, sablefish, & tenderloin) and was good enough to be our dessert, although that didn't stop us from ordering it. Although not a everyday drinking wine at $43.95 a bottle of Lachini Pinot Noir is great for a special occasion. Or for a dinner party you want to impress at but have no idea what the food will be. Happy drinking!
