Natalie's Review

RavensWood Vintners Blend Cabernet Sauvignon 2007, California, United States: Vintages Wine Panel: Ravenswood may be one of the three Rs of Zinfandel (Ridge and Rosenblum round out the trifecta), but they have also proven to have a very deft hand with Cabernet Sauvignon. Filled with cassis and vanilla aromas and flavours, this juicy and fruity wine is balanced out by just the right touch of tannin. My note: I adore the savory meaty notes in this wine: they give it depth and the lip-smacking desire for a top up. Pass the bottle, will you? Lovely, expressive notes of blackberry, cassis and fleshy plum. Superb. 606632 13.50% D 750 mL  $17.95 Score: 90/100. February 20, 2010  Full Review
