The 2008 Don Nieto Senetiner Don Nicanor Malbec, aged in French oak for 12 months, is full bodied, fruity, with nice aromas of strawberry and prune. Tannins are subtle to refined (decant for 15 to 30 min) and the finish is medium to long and smooth. Still a bit too young, drink 2016-2020. My impression: NICE, 89 pts - well crafted wine for reasonable price, recommended. Tasted Feb/12.
Don Nieto Senetiner Don Nicanor Malbec 2008, Mendoza, Argentina: Big, generous oak treatment that results in first aromas of toast, smoke and mocha. Black fruit on the palate. Full-bodied and smooth. Drink: 2012-2015. 178657 14% XD 750 mL $17.95 Score: 88/100. February 4, 2012 Full Review
